St Joseph’s Community College to receive funding under the Capital Schools programme
St Joseph’s Community College welcome news announced by an Taoiseach yesterday that the school will receive funding under the Capital School’s Programme, worth in excess of 1 million Euro. St Joseph’s is one of nine Mayo schools to benefit to be granted capital investment.

Ronan Concannon, analytical scientist with Boston Scientific spoke with students last Monday as part of Science Week 2015. Ronan spoke about the importance of Chemistry in everyday lives, Chemistry as a subject at second and third level and Chemistry as a career. Ronan also works with Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) on a voluntary basis.
